352 : Titanic - Rose

Was watching titanic again and it really got me wondering a lot of things.
How do you get dry so fast between each water wave?..

But honestly, there is a question i would really appreciate your opinions..

In the story, Rose found the love of her life. Getting painted nude by someone she newly met, *cough*slut*cough* but lost him soon after. I'm sure everyone knows the story.

My question :
Losing the person you know you want to spend your life with, would you get marry to another person?
I mean the thought of never giving your heart completely to the person you love but to give it to someone partially, would you?

I guess staying a 'widow' wouldn't be a good idea as well...

    Time is a great healer, i guess.

    Why do you want to give your heart to the person you love partially, while you can give it whole and enjoy life to the fullest together while you still can. You can worry about the future tomorrow :)

    well, Jack died and we all know slutty Rose moved on and married somebody else...so if you're anything like slutty Rose, you'll be fine :-)

    its about letting go and moving on... while holding on and staying single la la la may sound romantic, moving on with life and getting a life is what we should all do... and yes, don't underestimate the capacity of the heart. you can give your heart wholeheartedly to someone, and again, and again... and often it is not the heart that is the issue, it is you...

    I'd have to agree with peace here. It sounds super romantic. But wouldn't it be so depressing when all your friends are in relationships and you're single. Plus, it's not healthy to hold on for so long. Moving on is good. Doesn't mean you're forgetting that person.

    I think, yeah, eventually we do find someone else, that has that special effect on us. And we'll love again.

    But that doesn't mean you forget the other person. I think there will always be a place in your heart for the people you love or loved..
