I know I'm going to sound like a sore loser..
But just once i really want to celebrate my birthday with friends..

Every year and everyday i see people posting pictures of birthday parties they get on their birthdays,
or at least going for outings and dinner with friends..
Just once i really want to have something like that..

This year on my birthday, i didn't even get to see anyone of the people i love..
I didn't get a wish from the guy i gave my heart to,
nor any presents..

Just like that, at the end of the day, without friends or family,
I looked to my twin brother and said,
"There goes our special day.. Happy birthday bro.."
and it was over..
I understood the little smile he gave me,
expressing how pathetic our birthdays were..

Yea, i know.
I'm not popular, I'm not good looking, I don't have close friends..
Maybe that's just my life..
I'm just a whining baby..
I sound so stupid..

    that ain't a sore loser..it's like the least we could ask for from people around us...I could understand the feeling u had when the day passed without nothing happened

    when you are back and we meet up, we have birthdays every year ok? if you want we head over to spca and have birthday bashes with the animals there!

    provided time allows, but we will make time la!

    kinda hate doing this but, happy virtual birthday! I like saying into people's face instead of typing XD

    You don't sound like a sore loser. I know so many people who wants a birthday celebration like that. And I think its justified. Coz thats the ONE day from the entire year thats kinda special and you want to celebrate it with your friends. Hopefully you'll have a better birthday the next time! (:

    birthday is just another day for me, I never find it anymore special than other days, my mum never remember my birthday but only twice as far as I can remember. and no one throw a party for me, but I feel alright, do you know why?

    because I think getting older is not an accomplishment at all. I would celebrate for getting my HD's and Cum Laude, a new job, etc because that's my own hard work, but birthday is not one of the thing I wanna celebrate, I didn't accomplish anything by solely getting one year older.

    so NO, YOU'RE NOT A LOOSER.
