185 : Rants

Time for my monthly rants,
Like PMS'ing but mine is Perlu Marah Sesuatu.

So basically I was just wondering how are P's suppose to find a partner that is "safer"?

First thing first, Grindr is obviously a big no no. Everyone says people there are, of course, after physical attributes rather then care about your emotions. So finding a life time partner there would be.. Irrational?

Online. Most people met their partner's online right? Even mine, I met my first and Penguin online initially. But people you met online are always not what they seem, pass histories can be twisted, facts concealed, pictures edited. Friends will feed information into you about their past and you refuse to listen but its always there haunting you. Doubts build, urges to confront begin and everything goes haywire. Okay, it might be just me being paranoid most of the time but i got hurt really badly from not listening to warnings last time.. Once bitten twice shy.

My gaydar is broken, i think it was made broken and loves to malfunction, pointing to every single straight guy it sees that soothes the eyes. Unless that guy is the general stereotypical type, I'm oblivious to their sexuality.

So.. I feel quite forever alone.. lol..
How did you met your special person?..

Leo.

  2. I think this is not a gay problem. I think it is a modern problem. LOL!!! Pretty much everyone resorts to "Facebook Stalking" in their process to find "true love" although how they do this will invariably differ from person to person. I think it's not who you meet online that matters, rather how "smart" you are about it. And of course... you would not (or rather, should not) declare your love to someone online... nor accept someone's proposition... you MEET them up first and then see how it goes from there!!! Tons of STRAIGHT people start off their relationship like this too nowadays... usually begins with an informal introduction, and then a poke/message through Facebook.

Obviously you want to stay away from websites/apps like Grindr/Axcest where the sexual undertone is obviously no longer just an undertone... but then again there are similar sites/apps for heteros that they too should stay clear off while partner searching.

But they say, the Prince Charming will come find you one day. Hence, don't stress yourself with it too much.

  4. I am still trying to live the dream of waiting for Prince charming, but that is until I'm 30. Old, but oh well, if the love is worth waiting, its worth the time.

You know sometimes when I visit the sauna, it amazes me that the guys who go there.. you wouldn't know they are into guys if you saw them on the street.

Plu can look so damn straight, and some straight guys look so damn gay.. like sometimes i see a guy and his gf outside holding hands pak toh-ing, i think to myself 'OMG that guy looks so gay..' hahaha..

  8. Online as well. Unfortunately there's not much choice available for us - so you gotta kiss quite a few frogs before you find that prince.

  9. Being single I'm not eligible to answer your question. But I'm more interested in the comments. It sounds like there are a lot of broken gaydars here. Should I be glad that mine's still functioning? (I think. LOL)

Oh I love your response, savante. Witty as always but true enough.

  11. I met mine online :)

My only suggestion is to date more guys (include those that might not fall under ur ideal bf) till u find the guy that makes u happy. And don't put too much expectation on him and onto yourself. Cause true love comes when you least expect it :D
